Jarrod Kelso was named Ohio High School Player of the Year in 2013 after leading his team Hilliard Darby HS, to the Ohio Division I State Championship title. He continued his volleyball career as a Middle Hitter at Quincy University, where he was recognized as a 2nd team All-MIVA player in 2016 and 2017

Additionally, Jarrod currently serves as the Varsity Assistant Coach at Hilliard Darby High School and has been coaching there since 2018. He has also been a coach for the Vanguard Volleyball Club 17 gold team since 2018.
